Online Payments

Paperback Books

A one-time fee of $1,249.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript of 100 pages or less or of a fiction, non-fiction or poetry manuscript containing 100 or less pages.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, light editing, formatting, some marketing and distribution of various sources. Author will receive 25 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

A one-time fee of $1,349.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript of 101-124 pages or less of fiction and/or non-fiction.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, medium editing, formatting, some marketing and distribution through various sources. Author will receive 35 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

A one-time fee of $1,500.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript (fiction or non-fiction) containing 125-149 pages.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, a medium amount of editing, formatting, marketing and distribution of book through more sources than the above agreements. Author will receive 45 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

A one-time fee of $1,750.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript (fiction or non-fiction) consisting of 150-199.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, a medium amount of editing, formatting, marketing and distribution of book through both print and online distributors. Author will receive 55 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

A one-time fee of $2,250.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript (fiction or non-fiction) of 200-300 pages.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, a heavy amount of editing (3 editors), formatting, marketing and distribution of book through as many sources as possible for the genre chosen. Author will receive 65 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

A one-time fee of $2,750.00 will be paid by an author with a manuscript (fiction or non-fiction) of 300 pages or more.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, a heavy amount of editing (3 editors), formatting, marketing and distribution of book through as many sources as possible for the genre chosen. Author will receive 75-100 copies of printed book at no additional charge.

E-books

A one-time fee of $558.00 will be paid for production of an edited manuscript (not already an existing book we have previously published in print format) of 100 pages or less into an e-book format for placement on our websites: www.digi-tall-media.com and www.entrywaymarketing.com. Said e-book will be downloadable via an Adobe PDF version after customer purchases.

This fee includes the ISBN number, Copyright submission, light editing, formatting, and some marketing in an e-book format.

If in fact, your already published e-book does not need editing, the fee to produce this e-book for you would be $299.00.

All Packages Include...

All of the above agreement packages include the following services: review and critique of the first three chapters and/or first three poems of a book-length manuscript.

Also included in the fee is: light to medium amounts of editing of the manuscript if it is not over 200 pages, production (along with the issuance of an ISBN number) of the print-ready PDF and print proof galley.

All print proofs of both the cover galley and text galley are approved by author before final books are printed.

If the page count is over 300 pages, editing will be charged at the normal rate of $0.03/word.

Book cover designs can be easily included in the above fee; however, some designs may require an additional agreement between artist, writer and cover designers, depending upon the quality of cover desired.

Children's books which contain illustrations are a separate agreement and are often dealt with between the writer and the artist.

For each of the above packages except for the E-book, after the print proof galley is approved, 50-75 books will be provided to the author as part of the fee. The amount of books depends upon if the book is to be marketed as a hardback book or a softback book. Twenty-five of the said books will remain with Entry Way for the sole purpose of marketing and delivery at book signing events. A press release, flyer and 100 business cards are the final touches to this agreement between Author and Publisher.

The one-time fee of the plan chosen can be paid all at one time – upon signing of this Agreement; or it can be paid 1/2 upon signing and then 1/4 at mid-point of production and editing is approved. Upon receiving an approved print proof galley, the last 1/4 will be sent and books will at that time be delivered.

Payments should be made in the form of Cashier’s Check, Money Order or by Personal Check. Credit card payments are also available at this time. A shopping cart feature will soon be added to our sites to help sell the books after they are printed.

If after six months (contract end date,) the Author has not paid the entire fee, a reinstate cost will incur before all editing/production/print will be completed as well as books being delivered.

With this Agreement, no agent or liaison fees for marketing and/or hiring of large publishing house are included. These terms can be negotiated at a later date. However, we at Entry Way Publishing will encourage all authors to allow us to solicit agents who are signed up with the Literary Guild and/or who have experience in the genre in which you are writing. Author may accept or reject publishing offers secured by Entry Way and will deal directly with said publishing house. All large publishing offers will be reviewed and accepted or rejected in writing by Author.

All writers who are seeking self-publishing will have to pay no future sale royalties or fees after the book is printed. We are not interested in obtaining royalties by acting as your agent. Those conditions may become remain part of your contract with another publishing house if you do not choose Entry Way. However, if you wish to employ Entry Way to do further marketing for your book, we are available and will discuss different strategies with you.

This contract will be in affect for twelve (12) months. If after twelve (12) months, Entry Way has not produced and printed a finalized manuscript into book format and delivered the agreed upon amount of books to Author, the Author has the ability to solicit a cease production contract. Upon receipt via U.S. Mail Certified Return Receipt Requested/Proof of Delivery request, we will issue one third of the signed agreement fee to author. At that time, all production of said manuscript will cease. No other monies will be refunded to author at any time other than the following:

If at the time the agreement becomes null and void outstanding distribution monies are due author, author will receive these monies at the date designated for all distribution checks to be distributed, not before these publicized dates. No distribution checks are issued upon demand by author or author's representatives, they are issued on the dates listed on this site.

At any time, should either party feel this relationship is not workable; a certified return receipt letter shall be mailed within thirty (30) days of said discrepancy. A workable situation shall be at least sought out by both parties unless a dissolving is desired more by either party of this agreement.

If said Agreement becomes null and void, 1/4 of the paid monies will be refunded if at least half of these agreed upon funded have been paid publisher. Said compensation for such employment is the irrevocable right to commissions deducted from all monies or other compensation earned by my literary work, electronic or audio rights to it, through agreements initiated or made during the period of nine months.

This letter of agreement embodies the entire agreement between Entry Way Marketing & Publishing and Author concerning writer's written works. Said agreement and its terms and conditions may not be modified without mutual consent, expressed in writing.

NON-CONTRACT MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION SERVICES

Unless the contract states otherwise, all marketing and administrative services will be billed quarterly at $25 an hour rate. The above agreement terms fully states which agreement will contain marketing and which will not.
